Changes to RDS Craft Awards14-Feb-2018
Following a review of the Awards, the RDS has decided to significantly increase its direct support to the craft sector. This increased commitment involves:
1 A restructuring of the RDS Craft Awards which will be in the form of significant bursaries (5 x €10,000) for emerging craft makers.
2 The creation of a new €10,000 bursary for established makers which will be managed by the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI) and sponsored by the RDS.

Top Floor Art Gallery & Open Studios are inviting applications for full studio membership. A shared, open studio space will become available in April / May 2018.

This high quality Craft fair includes demonstrations, workshops, Food and Non-Craft Stands. Craft and food produce should be handmade by the Artist/Designer/Maker or Craft Company.

ON PAPER Printmaking Contest 2018
ON PAPER is a project to promote the art of printmaking and develop connections between printmakers around the world.
The shortlisted artists for the On PAPER Award 2018 will be exhibited in the Spike Print Studio at Spike Island, Bristol (UK) in summer 2018.

Offerings Lucy Brown- Exhibitions
A series of works which explore narratives around the body, femaleness and nostalgia. These woven works are anti-form sculptures and wall-based works that use a mixed pallete of old, second hand, vintage and unwanted clothes as raw materials.

An exhibition of work by Chris Banks, Elaine McCully, Ragna Mouritzen and Rhiannon Ewing-James.
Each artist has a distinct approach to conveying the ‘language’ of material. Each firmly believes it is a commonly spoken and understood language. They invite you to look at the artworks, and find fresh eyes for looking again at the ‘ordinary.’
