Craft NI Board seeks new Chair.13-Apr-2018
In October 2017, we completed the merger between the legacy organisations of the Craft & Design Collective and Craft Northern Ireland. Following a period of transition, we are now seeking to appoint a Chair to manage and provide strategic leadership to the Board of Directors, taking responsibility for the Board’s compostion and development.
The Chair will support the Chief Executive Officer in building productive and effective relationships, liaising with both external and internal stakeholders and acting as an Ambassador for Craft NI.

Craft NI Seeks Chief Executive Officer
Craft NI is the sector-lead body for the promotion and development of the design-led contemporary craft industry in Northern Ireland.
Craft NI supports and promotes the craft industry as an integral, entrepreneurial and vibrant part of the region’s economic and cultural infrastructure. Its key partners include regional government and agencies, local government, cultural organisations, universities and colleges of further and higher education, private business and industry.

Craft NI invites you to register a craft-related event for August Craft Month 2018.
August Craft Month is ‘An Annual Celebration of Craft in Northern Ireland’.
For the past 11 years Craft Northern Ireland invited artist/designer/makers, craft organisations, craft retail outlets, galleries, museums, local councils, arts centres, cultural venues, further education colleges, universities, heritage organisations, amongst others, to consider putting on craft-related events and activities, during August Craft Month, which support and promote themselves and/or artist/designer/makers and of course Craft.

Make a Silver Bangle with Robyn Galway- Workshops
Bangle One Day Weekend Workshop
This workshop will take you through the basics of how to make a bangle from piercing and filing your materials to soldering and polishing. The aim is for you to leave with a bangle with your own personal finish. Lunch and silver are included in the price, all you need to bring is some creative ideas. The workshops run from 12 – 5pm.
