    Avoca seek producers of Irish made products and collaboration | Expression of Interest with DCCOI

    Avoca Ireland are currently seeking to purchase Irish made craft and design that has been produced in Ireland. Additionally they are seeking producers to collaborate with on Irish made collections under the Avoca brand name.

    Avoca is working with the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland Market Development team on an initiative aimed at businesses that are retail ready and suited to this market.

Intended for students of architecture, building crafts and decorative and applied arts, this interdisciplinary programme will provide a space for rediscovering shared learning and practice, enabling students to explore the multifaceted nature of the built environment.

    Loewe Craft Prize 2020

    Applications are now open for the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize 2020.

    All participants must be professional artisans of 18 years or older at the time of the submission of entries. Entries may be made by an individual or collective (as a ‘group submission’). Businesses and mercantile companies of any kind are excluded. All nationalities are welcome.

    Each participant can present either one single piece of work or one series of works, understood as a number of objects considered as a single artistic creation (henceforth, ‘the Work’). This should fall within an area of the applied arts and, as a guide, within the following categories: ceramics, bookbinding, enamelwork, jewellery, lacquer, metal, furniture, leather, textiles, glass, wood, paper, etc.

    Applications are now invited for the Arts Council of Northern Ireland's Support for the Individual Artist Programme (SIAP)

    Artists may apply to one or more of the programmes and projects must take place between 1st November 2019 and 31st October 2020.

    The programme is open to artists of all disciplines and in all types of working practice, who have made a contribution to artistic activities in Northern Ireland for a minimum period of one year within the last five years.
