Arts Council of Northern Ireland

The Arts Council is the lead development agency for the arts in Northern Ireland. They are the main support for artists and arts organisations, offering a broad range of funding opportunities through our Exchequer and National Lottery funds.

invest NI’s challenge is to improve the international competitiveness of the economy, increase entrepreneurial activity and encourage more businesses to sell in international markets.

Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure

The Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL) is the Government lead on the creative industries. We have been working closely with the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Industry, the Department for Employment and Learning, Invest NI, the Arts Council, the local Universities, Sectoral Skills Councils and other bodies to map out how to support and develop the creative industries in Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland Tourist Board

NITB is an non-departmental public body of the Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment. Its primary objective is to promote Northern Ireland as a tourist destination. It provides a service to the public for information on tourist destinations within Northern Ireland, public transport, accommodation and the various tourist attractions throughout Northern Ireland. It's public facing website is Discover Northern Ireland. It also works closely with Tourism Ireland.

University of Ulster

The School of Art and Design offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Fashion and Textile Design and Applied Arts, which encompasses Ceramics, Textile Art, Silversmithing and Jewellery. It also has a range of postgraduate courses including MA Multidisciplinary Design, MA Art in Public and MDes Textile Material Product.
 

National Museums NI

Craft NI works with NMNI for its C3 - Collecting Contemporary Craft programme and August Craft Month.
