Caroline Stokesberry-Lee is a jewellery artist based in Belfast. Caroline trained at the University of Ulster where she undertook a course in jewellery making and silversmithing. Caroline has been trained by talented silversmith Ed Cook at Waylands Silversmithing School in Dublin. Caroline also very much enjoys the self teaching approach, and the experimental side of jewellery making and silversmithing
Caroline finds inspiration for her unique pieces in many unexpected places, nature, and experiences she encounters in everyday life. Her pieces will often begin as a vision which springs from an unusual shape or form she has encountered.
Working mainly in silver, and gemstones, often raw uncut gemstones, Caroline uses various traditional silversmithing techniques, such as anticlastic raising, forging, reticulation, doming, texturing, soldering. She will often use a combination of techniques to create a unique one off piece.
