Lynda B Jewellery and Ceramics
County Tyrone based ceramicist Lynda B creates a range of hand built porcelain vessels and a range of jewellery.
Lynda studied Contemporary Applied Art at Cumbria Institute of the Arts in Carlisle. Antique fabrics, ribbon, lace and buttons inspire the style of Lynda’s work while the beach provides a wealth of ideas for shapes and colours.
Lynda finds porcelain the ideal material to work with, its properties allow her the flexibility she needs from her material and its sensitivity enables her to imprint delicate patterns onto its surface.
“I hand build each piece meaning no two are ever identical. I imprint into and draw or write onto the porcelain surface to create my individual fabric-like style.”
