Lurgan silversmith Paul O’Hagan is the artist behind Tradjewellery. Having worked with metal all his working life, Paul started making jewellery 15 years ago in Australia, training under an Austrian Master jeweller.
Paul works in the traditional manner with a heavy Celtic influence, each piece is made individually by hand, making each one unique. Despite the traditional influence, Tradjewellery focuses on contemporary pieces with wide appeal and high wearability.
Much of Paul’s work is bespoke, ranging from small changes to a collection piece, to original designs.
Since moving back to Northern Ireland, Paul has concentrated on both retail and bespoke pieces for both the local and international market.
Tradjewellery was selected for a mentorship with S.E.E.D. Expanding Our Craft Horizons Programme culminating in a display at Showcase Ireland in January 2013 and is quickly gaining a reputation for beautiful handmade jewellery.
All jewellery is hallmarked by the DAO.
