Artist Talk: Rachael Colley
3pm Thursday 12 November
In partnership with the Pinned exhibition with ACJSNI (2 November to 2 January) Craft NI is delighted to welcome interdisciplinary artist Rachael Colley on a virtual visit to Belfast.
Rachael’s practice combines jewellery, objects and sculpture. Her prevailing themes around food and consumption have been drawn together to create experiential
dining events that encourage people to handle and use the pieces. Rachael is a senior lecturer in jewellery and metalwork at Sheffield Hallam University,
and her award-winning work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
Book here for this free 1-hour
webinar, in which we look forward to hearing how Rachael combines historical and social research with CAD design and 3D printing while working in experimental
materials to produce highly distinctive works that explore body boundaries and challenge definitions.
