Loaf Pottery Summer Classes and Events
Saturday Morning Pottery - 4 week course.
Come and learn the techniques used to create pottery. This course will be led by our in house potter who will teach you how to design a pot, throw on the potter’s wheel and make sculptural ceramics by hand building. You will also have the chance to glaze and decorate the ceramics you make before firing them in the kiln. Tea, coffee and a sweet treat will be provided as part of each class.
Booking is essential as there are limited places available and payment will be taken in full on the first week. This class is suitable for teenagers and adults. Fee: £120 per person
Date and Time: Every Saturday morning 7 – 28 July 2018, 10am – 12pm.
Paint Me, Glaze Me - 1hr 30 minute session.
No booking required, just drop in, choose your mug and decorate how you like. The class will include a short demonstration on how to use paints and glazes to give you ideas on how to decorate your mug. Suitable for all ages and abilities. Mugs will be available for collection after firing within 4 weeks.
£15 per person, group bookings are available or just drop in and get creative.
Baby Hand Prints
Create a special keepsake to mark the birth of a new child with one of Loaf Pottery’s baby hand print tiles. They only take 15 minutes to create and our potter will hand paint the child’s name and date of birth onto the tile for you. These make beautiful bespoke keepsakes for new parents or gifts for grandparents. Tiles will be ready for collection within 4 weeks.

Loaf Pottery Clay Day
We are holding an open day for budding potters to call down to have a go on the wheel, hand building and glazing. We have three time slots available and booking is required as there are limited spaces available for each slot. Suitable for 8 years and over.
Saturday 4August 2018, 1 hour slots: 9.30am, 10.45am and 12noon £7.50 per person
Pizza and Pottery Nights
This summer we are hosting two special pizza and pottery nights. The evening will start with a pottery class led by our potter who will teach you the techniques of throwing a pot on the wheel and hand building. After making your own pot, you will be shown through to our cafe where you can enjoy your choice of handmade artisan pizza. You can bring your own wine or bubbly too!
