SIAP – Craft NI Funding Application Clinic with Suzanne Lyle & Deirdre Robb (ACNI)
UPDATE: This event is now fully booked. The Arts Council of Northern Ireland's SIAP funding programme is now open for applications (deadline August 24th). As the sector leading body for craft development in NI, Craft NI would like to offer help and assistance to designer-makers interested in applying for funding this year.
We invite makers to drop into the Craft NI office between 11.00am - 1.00pm, on Thursday, 10th August, when Suzanne Lyle and Deirdre Robb (Visual Arts, ACNI) will be available for 20 min, one-to-one appointments to advise on individual applications.
These appointments are strictly for designer-makers who have begun an application and want individual advice on any SIAP grant or the Rosy James Memorial Award.
Suzanne and Deirdre are happy to discuss possibilities offered by the grants to help people to realise a project, to create a new body of work, and/or to buy new equipment. The ACNI particularly want to highlight for makers the Artists Career Enhancement Scheme (awards up to £5,000) with the focus on developing someone in their all-round career sense and the General Art awards up to £3,000.
Craft NI have additional information and resources for completing funding applications which we can provide you with in advance of your appointment by email. Staff will be available on the day to offer extra advice and support. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
These appointments are strictly limited. To book, email email@example.com and we will provide you with a list of available time slots.
