Pate de Verre Workshop        28th Jan 2012        10.30am – 4.30pm
In this fun hands-on class, participants will produce their own unique 3-d vessel or form from scratch. The design, mould making, glass packing will all be covered on the day with demonstrations and individual instruction. No previous experience is necessary, just a willing and enthusiastic attitude!  Teacher Alison Lowry will supply all equipment and will fire the finished pieces. At just £45.00 per person this is an opportunity not to be missed!

Jewellry Making            3rd & 4th Feb 2012    11.00 am – 4.30pm
In this two day jewellery workshop you will be introduced to the use of Jewellery tools and techniques, e.g. piercing, soldering, polishing. Tutor Mary Murphy, established Jewellery Designer/Goldsmith, will provide you with your own ‘bench tools’ and bring you on a journey of designing and making your own piece/s of jewellery in Silver to take home with you. Cost: £80 per person.

Wood-Turning                24th & 25th Feb     2012    10.00am - 4.00pm
Experience an introduction to the wonderful craft of woodturning.  Under the guidance of an experienced teacher each participant will have the use of their own lathe, and after an introduction to the safe use of the tools and equipment, will go away with at least two completed pieces of work.  Cost for 2 day workshop £50 per person.

3D Carrickmacross Lace         25 & 26th Feb 2012    10.30pm – 4.30pm (Sat) 1.00pm - 4.30pm (Sun)

Following the last very successful Carrickmacross Lace workshop Theresa will run a weekend class catering for both the beginner and more advanced lacemaker.  Theresa is recognised as one of the established influential Carrickmacross Lace artists working in Ireland.  She has transformed a traditional craft in to an experimental visual medium.  Cost: £45.00 per person.
