Based in Strathdon, Aberdeenshire Helen Denerley is surrounded by life, people, plants, animals and birds, all living within the cycle of the changing seasons. This combination of material and subject become the focus of the large sculptures, breathing new life into old metal.

 

Some of the parts have been hand-made by blacksmiths that were used to farm the land until they were worn out.
