Craft NI Welcomes Back Sharyn McMaster
Craft NI are delighted to announce the return of Sharyn McMaster to the organisation, having previously been a part of the team from 2015 to 2016 as a Support Officer. Sharyn returns to assume the new role of Operations Manager.
For the past year Sharyn has been working with Audiences NI providing business support and more recently client relationship support. Sharyn is passionate about craft and has worked within the sector since 2007 having previously worked with Ards Borough Council supporting their Craft Development function. Sharyn has recently completed a Masters in Arts Management, during studying Sharyn completed modules in Cultural Policy, Audience Development as well as studying the finer details of managing the arts. Sharyn concluded her studies by completing a dissertation looking at sustainability for the funded arts in Northern Ireland.
Sharyn says, “My study and experience to date have brought me back to Craft NI and I am delighted to be taking on this new role”.
When not at work Sharyn is kept busy by her two children and loves to spend time outdoors with her family. Sharyn has a background in Printmaking and loves being creative and learning new skills, August Craft Month is a highlight of the year where she can enjoy and share craft with her family while supporting the talented makers producing wonderful craft here in Northern Ireland.
