LUACHANNA: PINCH x Mourne Textiles
PINCH and Mourne Textiles launch a collaborative collection of wall hangings and cushions, hosting a master weaver and legacy loom at the PINCH Bourne Street shop.
PINCH and Mourne Textiles present their collaboration LUACHANNA: a collection of wall hangings and cushions to celebrate artistic making, symbolising the shared values that both brands employ in their collections and approach to creating elegant and dimensional products.
The PINCH shop on Bourne Street hosts a Mourne textile legacy loom, demonstrated by one of Mourne Textiles’ master weavers. The LUACHANNA collection is available to buy from the PINCH shop throughout the week.
For over half a century, Irish heritage brand Mourne Textiles has been weaving fabrics and furnishings at the foot of the Mourne Mountains in County Down. This family business, started by late Norwegian design pioneer Gerd Hay-Edie, uses traditional weaving techniques on custom-made handlooms.
PINCH is an established British studio, celebrated for its high quality and genre-defining furniture. For 15 years, Pinch has studiously created desirable, furniture and lighting designs. The studio’s coveted products are characterised by a quiet and elegant aesthetic, the result of tireless refinement and an intense dedication to craft and process.
