View Catherine Keenan glass blowing demonstration online

In the spring of 2010 the Island Arts Centre in Lisburn was host to an exhibition by glass artist Catherine Keenan

"Catherine Keenan's artworks are by-and-large meditations on two basic shapes, vessels and bowls, expressively entitled 'Barnacle' or 'Wild Flower' in various dark and light shades and hues from sharp blues, greens, reds and pinks to deep jades, purples, maroons, ambers, turquoises and fuchsias." You can now view an online demonstration of glass blowing techniques employed in the making of work for her 2010 solo show. All works were produced at The National Glass Centre in Sunderland.
