Call for stallholders: Castle Street, Belfast, Evening Fair
A chance to be part of a buzzing street party atmosphere in the city centre at Castle Street Evening Fair on Friday 26 October (7pm – 9pm). "We are closing the road and giving you, local traders, the opportunity to spill out onto the streets, highlighting and celebrating the wealth of independent business and the variety of goods and services on offer in the area. We also want to ensure the new 1100 students have a warm welcome to the area and know what is on offer from the independent shops! We will be providing the infrastructure (market stalls, electric, some all ages programming and activity and music) to ensure a good atmosphere, and we encourage you to get involved by taking a free stand and dressing it up in a fun way with your own ideas and showcasing what you have to offer. This will be a Hallowe’en harvest fair theme!"
This event will take place in Bank Square, Chapel Lane, Fountain Street and College Street.
This is a Belfast City Council initiative in partnership with Folktown Market, Cathedral Quarter Trust/Culture Night and PLACE. There will be food, art, crafts, live music, interactive stands, demonstrations, street performers, family activities and entertainment, not to mention great offers! Get involved!
