European Prize for Applied Arts 2021
The European Prize for Applied Arts aims to reward the best creations of contemporary expression in applied arts and artisanal design.
Launched in 2009, in partnership with the City of Mons, WCC-Europe and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the European Prize for Applied Arts rewards contemporary works of applied arts and handcrafted design. A 5th edition which will celebrate the 40 years of the association.
The competition is open to all creators in the field of applied arts and craft design, residing in a European country (including countries that are not members of the European Union).
The works selected for the competition will be of high quality, both technical and aesthetic and innovative in nature.
There will be an exhibition 12.12.2021 to 13.03.2022 at the Grande Halle of the Site des Anciens Abattoirs de Mons in Belgium, with an awards ceremony on 11.12.2021 with prizes: Prize of the Ministry of Culture of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation valued at € 3,500 and the WCC Europe Prize valued at € 3,500.
