Innovative Craft: Strategy & Business Plan 2014-17

Craft NI was established at the end of a process of consultation with the craft sector in Northern Ireland (2000-2004). It’s current strategy ‘Innovative Craft’ runs from 2014-2017.

Annual Report 2014-2015

2014-15 was Craft NI’s 10th year of operation and the first in its strategy 2014-17, Innovative Craft. The organisation’s three core objectives, which formed the focus for our activities, continued to be (i) Advocacy (ii) Partnerships and Infrastructure, and (iii) Raising Quality Awareness.

2012-13 was Craft NI’s ninth year of operation and the third in its strategy 2011-14, Opportunity Craft. The organisation’s three core objectives, which formed the focus for our activities, continued to be (i) Advocacy (ii) Partnerships and Infrastructure, and (iii) Raising Quality Awareness.

Growing craft-based tourism in Northern Ireland

Craft and tourism are building a relationship and it’s a growing one. Both industries are developing rapidly in Northern Ireland and increasing synergies between them are providing new and attractive opportunities for visitors, designer-makers and service providers.
